LRSSB looks to recruit experienced Audit and Safety Officer

The Light Rail Safety and Standards Board is looking to further strengthen its expert team with the recruitment of an experienced Audit and Safety Officer.

The organisation responsible for tramway safety is now inviting applications for the new role based at the LRSSB’s offices in Birmingham.

 

Reporting to the organisation’s Head of Safety Assurance, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating audits within the sector. assisting in the maintenance of the safety risk management framework and evaluating compliance with standards and regulations.

 

Other duties include assisting in the development of new light rail standards and reviews of existing ones, while supporting the LRSSB in implementing effective benchmarking across the light rail sector.
